IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS:
- The Tenant undertakes not to transfer this contract to anyone under any circumstances whatsoever.
يتعهد المستأجر ألا ينقل العقد الى أحد غيره في أية حال من الأحوال. - Renewal of the period of Tenancy is at the discretion of the Landlord, which shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed.
يكون مدة تجديد الإيجار باختيار المؤجر ولا يجوز منعه أو تأخيره بدون سبب. - The contract shall automatically renew from year to year unless either party gives at least two months’ notice in writing to the other of its intention to terminate. اما العقد فسوف يتجدد تلقائيا عند انتهائه إلا إذا اعطى أحد الطرفين كتابا خطيا موجها الى الطرف الثاني برغبة في إخلاء السكن على الأقل شهرين قبل انتهاء العقد الحالي.
- At the time of vacating the Premises, the Tenant undertakes not to remove any of the Landlord’s furniture, fixtures and fittings or modifications which may have been installed in the premises. The Landlord reserves the right to instruct the tenant to return the Premises to its original condition at the Tenant’s sole cost and expense, normal wear and tear accepted. عند إخلاء العقار يتعهد المستأجر بأنه لن يقوم بإزالة الأثاث والحاجيات والتركيبات والتحسينات المزودة به بواسطة المؤجر. ويحق للمؤجر ان يأمر المستأجر بإعادة العقار المؤجر اليه الى حالته الأولى على حساب المستأجر بشكل معروف ومعتدل البلى والاستهلاك.
- The tenant may carry out modifications or improvements to the premises, provided that has obtained the Landlord’s prior written consent to such modifications or improvements which consent must be withheld at the Landlord’s absolute discretion.
يمكن للمستأجر القيام بإجراء أي تعديلات وتحديث في العقار بعد حصوله على موافقة مسبقة من المؤجر خطيا وان يكون مقبولا ومعقولا لديه
- If the Tenant fails to comply with any of the terms and conditions of this Contract, the Landlord shall have the right to terminate this Contract with immediate effect and eject the Tenant from the premises. The Tenant shall reimburse the landlord for any costs and expenses incurred in connection with such termination and ejection of the Tenant.
إذا فشل المستأجر في تنفيذ اي شرط من شروط هذا العقد يحق للمؤجر إنهاء العقد بشكل فوري و إخراجه من العقار ، وعلى المستأجر ان يعوض المؤجر أي تكلفة مستلزمة مرتبطة بموضوع إنهاء العقد و إخلائه منه
7. For the validity period of the contract the Tenant undertakes to pay all taxes levied by the Government of——————— in the contract. على المستأجر ان يدفع ضريبة إسكان الى حكومة —————————- سنويا طالما ان عقد الإيجار ساري المفعول. - If the Tenant wishes to vacate the Premises, he should inform the landlord in writing prior to the intended departure date and obtain the landlord’s written consent to terminate this contract. In the absence of the Landlord’s consent, this contract shall remain in full force and effect until the expiry date and the Tenant shall remain liable for its obligations hereunder. الاطراد المستأجر أخلاء العقار المؤجر فعليه إشعار المؤجر برغبته مسبقا لموعد خروجه وحصوله على موافقة خطيا لإنهاء العقد فبدون معرفة المؤجر سيكون العقد جاريا بجميع مزاياه الى ان تنتهي مدته ولا يزال المستأجر مسئولا عن اي التزامات منوطة به.
- If the Tenant is absent from town at expiry date or leaves the Premises without the Landlord’s consent pursuant to clause 8 or fails to make any rental payment when due, the landlord shall have the right to enter the Premises ,remove and destroy any of the Tenant’s possessions remaining in the Premises and lease such Premises to another tennantite Tenant shall have no right to object to any action taken by the Landlord pursuant to this clause 9 or to make any claim against the landlord in respect of any action taken pursuant hereto. في حال غياب المستأجر عن البلدة بعد انتهاء مدة الإيجار أو مغادرته منها بدون رضا المالك بموجب البند رقم (8) أو فشل في أداء ما عليه من مبلغ الإيجار فللمالك الحق بدخول العقار وإزالة وإعدام أي شيء من المواد المتبقية هناك وتأجيره لأي مستأجر آخر ولا يحق للمستأجر المعارضة عن اي قرار اتخذه المؤجر بموجب البند رقم (9) أو التقدم بمطالبة ضد المؤجر عن قراره الذي اتخذه بموجب هذا العقد.
- The Tenant undertakes to pay all charges for water/electricity/sewage consumption in the Premises. Final paid utility bills must be produced to the Landlord upon the Tenant vacating Premises. يتعهد المستأجر بدفع قيمة الماء والكهرباء والمجاري، وعند الإخلاء عليه إحضار أخر فاتورة مدفوعة للمؤجر. 10.
- The tenant undertakes to immediately notify the Landlord in the event of fire, flood or other incident involving he premises or upon the discovery of any damage or fault in the Premises requiring repair or attention.
يتعهد المستأجر بانه سيقوم بإبلاغ المؤجر فورا في حال نشوب حريق أوصابه تغذية أو غيرها في العقار أو اكتشاف اي تلف أو عطل في العقار يحتاج الى صلاحه أو لفت انتباهه اليه.
- The tenant undertakes to permit the Landlord entry to the Premises to inspect the same and effect any repairs, including in the absence of the Tenant if necessary. يتعهد المستأجر بأنه سوف يسمح للمؤجر بأن بدخول العقار لإجراء الفحص عما ذكر أعلاه أو اي إجراء.
- Any cheque returned from bank will be subject to an AED 500/-administrative charge. إذا ارتجع الشيك من البنك لعدم رصيده يغرم المستأجر بمبلغ وقدره (……..) درهم كرسوم إدارية.
- The Landlord shall have no liability whatsoever to the Tenant in respect of any loss, damage, injury, nuisance, or inconvenience that may occur to the tenant /occupants of the Premises, its employees or visitors from any cause howsoever arising. لن يكون المؤجر مسئولا عن اي خسارة، أو تلف، أو إصابة، أو إزعاج تعرض له المستأجر، أو المقيم، أو الموظفون، أو الزائرون بأي سبب من الأسباب. 14.
- The tenant shall be responsible for insuring the contents of the Premises, يكون المستأجر مسؤولا عن تأمين محتويات العقار 15.
- To the extent applicable, the Landlord shall be responsible for maintaining and repairing air-conditioning, lifts, escalators, plumbing, water, and electrical system supplied in the Premises and common areas. The landlord reserves the right to temporarily stop such services by reason of accident or emergency or to effect repairs, alterations, replacement, or improvements. يكون المؤجر مسئولا عن إصلاح وصيانة أنظم التكييف والمصاعد والأدراج وكذلك سباكة المياه وأنظم المياه والكهرباء المزودة في العقار وساحاته، ويحق للمؤجر توقيف الخدمات بصفة مؤقتة لحدث، أو حالة طارئة، أو لإصلاحها، أو لإجراء تعديلات، أو تحسينات.

What is a Rental Agreement?
Rental agreements are very similar to lease agreements. The biggest difference between lease agreements and rental agreements mostly in the length of the contract. which it will be long in the Lease and short in the rental agreement, mostly it will be monthly or less, in Jordan the popular usage is in the furnished apartments.
